About Me

My name is Lana Abdelaziz, and I am a journalist and producer with over 10 years of experience. I am a Senior Content Manager at Augustus Media, which operates in Dubai, Riyadh, and Cairo. 

Our company manages popular platforms such as Lovin Dubai, Lovin Saudi, Lovin Cairo, and Smashi. I played a key role in establishing the company's presence in Egypt.

I lead a team of content creators, writers, and video editors, and oversee the creation of various content types, including articles, social media posts, videos, and shows. I collaborate with marketing, commercial, product development, and other teams to ensure content supports broader business objectives. I also specialize in producing and managing multimedia stories and brands for the Middle East and North Africa region.

Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in producing content and conducting interviews for Al Jazeera's programs, including the Entrepreneurs Show, a weekly series highlighting startups and the entrepreneurship scene in the Middle East. I have interviewed guests from various industries across Arab countries and the United States, including notable names like Talabat, SWVL, Souq, Oasis 500, Namshi, Cloudera, Fetchr, MEVP, Sawari Ventures, and LEGO for a two-hour documentary. 

Additionally, I have had the privilege of interviewing high-profile individuals such as Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris, former Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif, and various Arab businessmen and celebrities.

In 2019, I produced The Other Side Show, which tells inspiring stories from war-torn countries. This show is available in both Arabic and English.

I have also worked as a journalist and reporter for organizations such as HuffPost, Alaraby TV, Al Tahrir Newspaper, and Almaqal Newspaper.
